- Much of our case-load is orientated around maintaining the fitness of sports horses of different kinds. We have a large number of clients with both flat and jump racehorses, point-to-pointers, eventers, hunters, show jumpers, dressage & endurance horses, so we have a great deal of experience in dealing with conditions that affect high performance animals.
- Equally, we are sensitive to the needs of owners of much loved family pets.
- Excellent facilities aid the clinical diagnosis of lameness and respiratory problems. A full range of stabling and paddock accommodation is available if animals need to stay overnight, or even just for the day.
- Busy working owners can drop off a horse from 7am onwards and pick it up after work. There is sufficient room to leave trailers and lorries for the day too.
- To minimise costs, we encourage clients who live a long way off to bring their horses to Teal House for routine appointments. If this is not possible, we try to group several calls in your area together - thus reducing your journey fee - we call it a "passing visit".
- Equipment includes mobile x-ray, endoscopy and video-endoscopy, ECG and ultrasound.
- A country-wide network links us to the best specialist equine care available in the UK.
- All the vets are available and confident to carry out 5 stage prior to purchase examination on behalf of clients.
