Equine

If you require an appointment please call the office and the staff will discuss with you options for a home or a practice visit, which will minimise cost to you.

You will be given an appointment time. If an emergancy occurs and we can not keep to the given time we will always let you know as soon as possible. Equally if you are delayed or cannot keep to the appointed time please let us know as soon as possible.

For non-urgent appointments we try to group client visits in geographical areas to reduce time and travel expensises. Referred to as 'passing visits', we aim to minimise costs.

Small Animal

At Teal House, we are able to offer more extensive services to clients with small animals with separate kennels and cattery should pets have to stay overnight.

We carry out routine operations twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We have close links with second opinion hospital practices, allowing us to refer complicated cases to a variety of specialist centres of excellence, depending on the specific condition.

Emergencies out of hours

Emergancy calls should always be handled by calling 01653 618303 where you will be re-directed to our paging system. You should leave your name, address and telephone number. If you have not heard from the vet on duty within 5 minutes repeat the procedure.

Small animal emergencies should be brought into the practice so they can have the full range of drugs and equipment available for treatment.
